The Islamic New Year
The Islamic New Year marks the era of changes and manifestation of the growth of Islam and the dominance of the Islamic rules within the Arabian Peninsular. A matter that soon led to the dominance of Islamic not only in the Arab world but the world at large.
Hijrah which is celebrated today among the Muslims to mark their new year didn't come with ease but rather with lots of difficulties, pains and loss of wealth and materials.
The Muhajiroon had to leave all their belongings run for their lifes and religion. the suffer serious humiliations in the hand of the kuffar of mecca. The story of Bilal bn Rabbah, Sofiyyah and the likes are clear proof just to mention few.
The Holy Prophet peace be upon him was a victim of this humiliation. He was blackmailed, called all sort of names, harmed till they concluded on eliminating him.
This conclusion of elimination was to get rid of the treat Islam posted on their idolatory acts and paganism. This later led to the movement of Many Sohabahs and the Prophet from Makah to Medina.
We urge Muslims to read about Hijrah and try to live by the lessons and messages of the divine journey.
As the whole world celebrate 1447Ah Hijrah, An Nahdatul Islamiyatu Wal Arobiyyah also join the world in it celebration and therefore urge its students, staffs, parents and the world to emulate the Holy Prophet and His Companions.
